Photo of Harry Maniotas (seated at right) who was the first man to be drafted into World War I from Snohomish County, Washington. He was sent to the front lines in France where he was a member of the Lost Battalion. gut he survived and returned to Everett, Washington in 1918 and lived there until his death in 1963.
