Red wool throw or bed spread/blanket with white cross-stitch design. Two pieces sewn togther and edged in alternating red and white pom-poms. From the village of Avariko (Roumeli) and admired by Effie Wells when she was visiting the village. When visiting the home of the owner, she was "gifted" the textile, typical of Greek hospitality.
