Title

TROJAN HORSE

Subject

Greek restaurants

Description

Opened by Louie Carras and partners in downtown Seattle, it was a Greek restaurant/nightclub that featured a lounge quintet called the Trojans. Over time many acts were brought in. By 1971 management stepped things up by bringing in hit makers like Lou Rawls, Jimmie Rodgers, the Shirelles, the Platters, and the Ramsey Lewis Trio. In 1975 an arson fire shut the place down, but it re-emerged in December 1979 as the Astor Park.
